About Piya Nivasa Guesthouse

Piya Nivasa is a colonial style familiar guesthouse, home of Rohana de Zoysa "Roy", his wife Nisha, their son Lasantha with his wife Iresha and the grandchildren Tanisha and Nihiran.

Roy speaks English well and he likes to help.

Piya Nivasa offers clean, airy and spacious colonial style rooms (five Double-, one Single-room), provided with fresh linen, mosquito net and fan / two rooms with AC. All rooms with private bathroom, shower and toilette / three rooms with hot water.

Piya Nivasa has a private balcony accessible to all guests to enjoy the Ocean view and the Sunset, often with Roy.

Piya Nivasa serves incomparably delicious singhalese food. Breakfast as you wish: singhalese or with toast.

For my part I always have used Piya Nivasa as starting-point and end-point of my Sri Lanka stays. The climate is relatively moderately, not so humid for Sri Lanka. There are only a few mosquitos, and by the way no malaria. Roy knows the needs of "western vacationists".

Private beach only a stone's throw away from Piya Nivasa - and there is always the privacy of your own balcony for sunbathing or drinks at sunset.
